DSSAT Training Workshop 2014 in Thailand

DSSAT Workshop in Thailand has been successfully held at the Chiang Mai University. Total of 19 participants representing 11 countries attended the workshop. The international participants were fully sponsored by the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA).

“Food security in a world of natural resource scarcity”

International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) published a new report that measures the impacts of agricultural innovation on farm productivity, prices, hunger, and trade flows as we approach 2050 and identifies practices which could significantly benefit developing nations. DSSAT was used to estimate the potential food security impact of adopting 11 promising agricultural technologies.
